1/24/11 東日本企業復興支援プロジェクト in New York
TEAM JAPANメンバーの皆様
今回は社会的にも相当意義のあるミッションをご一緒させていただき本当に有難うございました。
このプロジェクトに携わられた皆様の動機が純粋で、私利私欲のない強い想いが、そしてジェトロスタッフの方々の昼夜を、そして陰ひなたを問わずの心遣い、身体遣いが、ここ米国でのお客様に伝わり、それがテレビ、新聞等の報道関係者に伝わり、そして一番の目的であります、東北繊維メーカーの方々に伝わるという善果につながったものと思います。突貫工事に近いものにもかかわらず何一つ手を抜かず、常にベストケースシナリオを追求しつづけられた、公的プロジェクトのあるべき姿を見せていただけました。 素晴らしかったです。
TEAM JAPAN in NEW YORKの皆様 このたびは、皆様、本業超ご多忙中にもかかわらず、ボーダーレスマインドでの絶対的サポート、心より感謝いたします。プロ職人の人間としての意識の高さにいたく感銘を受けました。大変大きな学びと気付きをいただけました。みなさん格好善かったです。
ご存知の通り、SHINGOさんのお言葉をおかりすれば、「東北のメーカーさんを泉にお連れする、そして水の飲み方をもお教えする」というミッションでした。これからは各社のメーカーさんが創意工夫をされ、独自で再上陸をされる努力が必要になりますが、できれば全社、少なくとも５社くらいの方々には、立派に再上陸を果たされ長期的に発展できる米国でのビジネスが構築できますことを祈っております。
あらためまして、今回は大変お世話になりました。文字通り「有難い」ものでした。

1/1/12 KNY NEW SLOGAN "STEP UP"
"STEP UP" as Katsu New York's slogan in 2012.
The company's growth is really depending upon individual team members growth.
This year, we will be working on Step up tracking system, which we review monthly growth comparing with their own monthly goals also as team. We want to upgrade each category, such as PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (UNIQUE), SERVICES (OMG) and ATTITUDE (DECENT). We hope we can report great news as conclusion of 2012, on Dec 31st 2012.

1/12/12 KNY NEW YEAR PARTY FOR "THAI FLOOD RELIEFS."
It was another great memory to start this year 2012. We had an appreciation party which had a Thai theme to help Thai flood victims.
We set up a silence auction to gather all donation. Every cent we made, it will be sent to Royal Thai Consulate in New York to pass this donation to Thai Flood center in Thailand.
Besides auction for goodness, we still had a very warm support from our customers and venders by knowing from their time visiting us on that night. It was such a memorable day to gather these decent people together.
See you all in July 2012!

8/19/11 WELCOME OUR NEW INTERN FROM RUSSIA, ANZOR!
It is an exciting period of having a new intern from Russia joining our team Katsu New York.
Anzor Makharadze is from Russia. He has been involved in fashion industry for quite years as his background back in Russia. Right now he is in a business school, Rennert, to gain more knowledge about international business.

8/12/11 SEMINAR "ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING."
We discussed how important is attitude toward success in life and business. Many people say "Attitude can break or build" a company, do you think so??
In the middle of lessons, we gave a flow chart of where the attitude comes from. Psychologically, attitude comes from our thoughts. The way we think will lead to our attitude and eventually attitude will lead to our action.

WELCOME MR.TAKI, THE PRESIDENT OF TAKISADA OSAKA.
It was an honor to have Mr.Taki, the president of Takisada Osaka, visiting our KNY office and spent sometimes to enjoy semi-business time together. He was also at the Katsu New York appreciation party as well.

7/14/11 KATSU NEW YORK APPRECIATION PARTY ON A SUMMER DAY!
It was a lovely sunny day to gather people to enjoy a lively appreciation party under Katsu New York roof.
While people were enjoying the atmosphere, foods and drinks, we had a bingo game for Tsunami charity. That night we earned around $400 and the amount had been donated to the Japan earth quake and Tsunami foundation.
Thank you for everyone's support: our beloved customers, sincere venders and our definite KNY support members.
Katsu New York's members have always been asked why we have existed for 23 years? There is no doubt. The answer was right here at the party, because we have you all.

HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY KATSU NEW YORK!!
Another year has come for Katsu New York’s 23rd birthday on May 18.
Thank you for all wonderful support from customers and venders. Without you all, we could not have existed.
Katsu New York has been supported by great members: Beta and Chikako have been with us for 19 years and Yoshi for 15 years. They are KNY’s brain, legs and arms. Thank you for your growth.
We still have 77 years to go for 100th birthday.

1.13.2011 KATSU NEW YORK APPRECIATION PARTY AND WELCOME THE RABBIT YEAR.
A bright green night on Jan 13th, we had over 108 people gathering in Katsu New York office to be given our appreciation. It was a very warm event.
One of our entertainments was real Mochi Pounding which got everyone excited in the event. Some guests also participated to pound the mochi. Later on, everyone got to taste the fresh mochi. What a memorable activity!
Thank you to everyone for your support to let us be Katsu New York for 23 years. Without you: Knoll, Jhane Barnes, Lori Weitzner, Suzanne Tick, J.Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, Men’s wearhouse, Elie Tahari, Eileen Fisher, Takisada, Nikke and KNY team, we could not have existed.
KATSU NEW YORK OPENS UP FOR THAI SILK PROJECT.
On February 4th, 2011 – Katsu New York, Yoshi flew to Thailand for a grand opening of Silk Valley, a Thai silk development project supporting by the Ministry of Thai Commerce.
Silk Valley has been established as purposes of helping and training Thai Silk village producers to become capable in global market and also to increase their level of income. Katsu New York is appointed to be a Thai silk ambassador in the World Class Designer Exchange program in the United States.

Our intention is to choose a great designer to be a part of the program to help the group by developing Thai silk and turning to real products, which is a hope for thousand lives in Thailand. There are 400 Thai silk villagers are eager to do something different to survive themselves in such competitive world silk market.
Katsu New York really hopes this meaningful program will reach to the roots of the needs.

2.25.2011 SEMINAR "ABILITY" - What did we acheive in 2011?
"Wow, I have no idea how I did this!" How many times in life we said this to ourselves?
Human ability is limitless. It is beyond people's imagination what one can do. So,we brought "ability" to be our topic today seminar.
Today Katsu and Nao took us to the FUTURE together. Katsu stimulated everyone's mind today was February 17,2012. Main part of the seminar, we had to brief what we will have accomplished for Katsu New York in the year of 2011. Everyone responded by visualizing his/herself standing on the highest floor, which was the future, and looked down what he/she has accomplished.
The activity gave out a great ability meaning is projecting the ability which is seemingly impossible today and we have to work hard toward that projected ability to turn it possible by overcoming ourselves. That is the true ability we should aim for.
We need this inner ability power to help Katsu New York grow.
