SynZenBe 「真善美」

Katsu New York is proud to announce our launch of new brand "SynZenBe".
This brand is about not only what we make, more importantly, who and how we get together to generate products.

The meaning of SynZenBe came from The Intention of Universe, which are "TRUTH, GOODNESS and BEUTY". (in Chinese and Japanese character. 「真」「善」「美」)

We will be introducing scarf and textile related accessaries from Spring 2013.

Nagatsu Camp Vol.5

From Sept 2nd to 6th, Katsu New York had very productive seminars, called NAGATSU CAMP. It was our 5th one by having director, Mr. Hiroyuki Nagatsu who did fly from Fukuoka, Japan each time we had Nagatsu camp.

Main Theme
Connection in deep mind within our Katsu New York

Sub Theme
1. Domestic Stress Zero Atmosphere--> We need to pay 100% attention on outside of our office.
2. Be familiar with Numbers-->Associate with numbers for all actions we make.
3. Define team members' individual functions and responsibilities.

We could achieve all of above, because of Mr. Nagatsu's almost 24/7 supports with passion and beautiful mind of Katsu NY team members.

Thank you for all.
Katsu

Knoll

We have been very  lucky to work with Knoll, such a reputable company for over last 24 consecutive years. We appreciate Jhane Barnes who lead us to get into this business originally in 1988. Certainly it was quite eye opening challenges and excitement.
Thank you very much.

Dear Ms. Morishita: Congratulations on your Praemium Imperiale Award!

Ms. Yoko Morishita

She started to study ballet at the age of three and entered the Matsuyama Ballet Company in 1971. After she won the Gold Medal at the 1974 Varna International Ballet Competition, she made many guest appearances with leading ballet companies around the world. She was the first Japanese ballet dancer to make an appearance in Paris Opera.

Sushiden at Katsu New York

April 10, 2012

寿司田

Mr. Koji Kimura, store director and main chef of Sushiden NY, gave us a special treat at our Katsu New York office.

Mr. Kimura was born and grew up in Hachinohe, Aomori.
He was kind enough to set up a temporary sushi bar.
He spent time planning and rehearsing in order to make the perfect performance for our special event. Mr. Kimura taught our team members "what professionalism really is."
