1.13.2011 KATSU NEW YORK APPRECIATION PARTY AND WELCOME THE RABBIT YEAR.

A bright green night on Jan 13th, we had over 108 people gathering in Katsu New York office to be given our appreciation.  It was a very warm event.  

One of our entertainments was real Mochi Pounding which got everyone excited in the event. Some guests also participated to pound the mochi. Later on, everyone got to taste the fresh mochi. What a memorable activity!

Thank you to everyone for your support to let us be Katsu New York for 23 years.  Without you:  Knoll, Jhane Barnes, Lori Weitzner, Suzanne Tick, J.Crew, Gap, Banana Republic, Men’s wearhouse, Elie Tahari, Eileen Fisher, Takisada, Nikke and KNY team, we could not have existed.




KATSU NEW YORK OPENS UP FOR THAI SILK PROJECT.

On February 4th, 2011 – Katsu New York, Yoshi flew to Thailand for a grand opening of Silk Valley, a Thai silk development project supporting by the Ministry of Thai Commerce.

Silk Valley has been established as purposes of helping and training Thai Silk village producers to become capable in global market and also to increase their level of income. Katsu New York is appointed to be a Thai silk ambassador in the World Class Designer Exchange program in the United States.


Our intention is to choose a great designer to be a part of the program to help the group by developing Thai silk and turning to real products, which is a hope for thousand lives in Thailand. There are 400 Thai silk villagers are eager to do something different to survive themselves in such competitive world silk market.

Katsu New York really hopes this meaningful program will reach to the roots of the needs.
